The Shinergy SMART Wind serial pitch control system is used for the
blade pitch angle control of wind turbines. Featured by its strong
drive-force, fast dynamic response and stable operation, it takes
an important role in the wind turbine system.
1.5 MW pitch system

1.Highly reliable components
We have selected Helukabel for external cabinet cable, Dehn for
lightening protection component, Phoenix for relay, ABB for voltage
monitoring module.
The system is equipped by super capacitors, which are characterized
by high reliability, maintenance-free, wide working temperature
range, and long lifetime.
Highly reliable PLC CompactLogix L32E. Short-period scanning.
Powerful processing inner core. Multitask (<= 8). Inner 100Mbps
EtherNet/IP interface. 64Mbytes CF nonvolatile memory card.

2. Low voltage ride-through function
Up to 10s low voltage ride-through capacity when the grid voltage
drops to 0%. The hardware is equipped with voltage monitoring
module. Backup super capacitors ensure enough energy for low
voltage ride-through and feathering function. The backup power
voltage is 450V, which is enough for twice feathering operation.
The inverter performs perfectly when the AC and DC power supply
switched to each other and even under low voltage supply. All the
hardware switches need not to depend on 220V power source. Control
software is optimized to monitor the main power voltage, control
the inverter and backup power, and decide the working condition
according to the state machine’s condition.
